Horizontal Wire Mesh Washer

A small horizontal spray washer was developed for cleaning & drying of small reels of fragile fine gauge wire mesh at widths up to 52" and speeds to 15 FPM. The overall process from "wash" through multiple "Rinses" to "Final Drying" required less than 13 feet in length. Mechanical damage to the mesh was eliminated and removal of drawing lubricants/metal fines from the mesh exceeded our customers cleaning specifications.

High force/close proximity spray nozzles were used for cleaning & rinsing of the mesh and high volume / low-pressure air knives (130 F) were used for drag-out prevention & final drying.
